The Khatu Shyam Ji Temple in Sikar district is one of Rajasthan’s most visited shrines. Devotees lovingly call Baba Shyam Haare ka Sahara — the support of those who have lost hope.
How to reach Khatu Shyam Ji
- From Jaipur: around 80 km, roughly 2 hours by road.
- From Delhi: around 270 km, roughly 5–6 hours by road.
- By train: Ringas Junction is the nearest railway station, about 17 km away.
A private car or Tempo Traveller is the most comfortable option for families — you can leave early, avoid bus crowds and continue to Salasar Balaji the same day.
When is it busiest?
- Ekadashi (especially Shukla Paksha Ekadashi) every month.
- Weekends and public holidays.
- The Phalgun Lakkhi Mela (usually February–March), when lakhs of devotees arrive, many on foot from Ringas carrying nishan flags.
Darshan timings change with the season and on festival days, so always check the latest schedule shortly before your visit. Our drivers keep track of current timings and parking arrangements.
Practical tips
- Start early. Reaching before 9 am usually means a calmer darshan.
- Carry minimal belongings. Mobile phones and bags may be restricted inside.
- Dress modestly and be prepared for queues in the sun during summer.
- Combine with Salasar Balaji (about 2 hours away) for a complete Shekhawati yatra.
We run daily Khatu Shyam Ji darshan trips from Jaipur and Delhi in sedans, Innova Crysta, Tempo Travellers and buses.
