6 Days Royal Rajasthan Tour
Jaipur’s palaces, Jodhpur’s mighty Mehrangarh and Udaipur’s lakes — the royal triangle of Rajasthan.
The Blue City beneath Mehrangarh
Indigo lanes tumble beneath the mighty Mehrangarh Fort, one of India’s most impressive fortresses, in Rajasthan’s vibrant Blue City.
Founded by Rao Jodha in 1459, Jodhpur is dominated by Mehrangarh Fort, rising dramatically from a rocky ridge above a sea of blue houses.
Inside the fort, beautifully restored palaces display royal palanquins, armoury and miniature paintings. Nearby, the white marble cenotaph of Jaswant Thada glows at sunset, while Umaid Bhawan Palace remains one of the world’s largest private residences. Don’t miss the spice stalls of Sardar Market around the Clock Tower.
Jodhpur sits at the edge of the Thar Desert and connects beautifully with Jaisalmer and Udaipur.
Jodhpur Airport has flights from Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru. By road it is about 5–6 hours from Jaipur and 5 hours from Jaisalmer.
