8 Days Rajasthan Family Tour
Forts, a tiger safari, lakes and camel rides at a relaxed, kid-friendly pace with spacious vehicles.
Tiger land beneath a 10th-century fort
One of the best places in India to spot wild Bengal tigers, set around lakes and the ruins of the UNESCO-listed Ranthambore Fort.
Ranthambore National Park near Sawai Madhopur is one of India’s most famous tiger reserves. Dry deciduous forest, lakes and crumbling chhatris make every safari feel cinematic.
Safaris run in open gypsies (6-seater) or canters (20-seater) across designated zones, usually in morning and afternoon shifts. Besides tigers, look out for leopards, sloth bears, sambar deer, marsh crocodiles and more than 300 bird species. Don’t miss Ranthambore Fort and its Trinetra Ganesh Temple.
Safari permits are issued by the Forest Department and are limited — book early. Core zones generally close during the monsoon.
Sawai Madhopur railway station is 11 km from the park. Jaipur is about 3.5 hours by road.
